Very good breakfast buffet. Love the salsa and the homemade omelettes. Also good selection of fresh fruit. Get there at 7:30 am. The tourist bus people get there at 6 a.m.

Alright, let's find a camping site there and stay for a day or two. It is a great Western town. Route 66 shops, the train to the Grand Canyon, wonderful mom and pop restaurants, and close to Bearizona.

Photobombed by Tom Hanks
Can you believe we were photobombed by Tom Hanks. We were at the Bubba Gump Shrimp restaurant and there he stood just photobombing us. We really like that restaurant down at the Golden Nugget. Of course we eat the early bird menu. It is less than $10. We did not eat out on the river, because it was way too hot. We ate indoors and had really good customer service.
Martini Girl strikes again
I think this will be my last lemon drop martini at the Aquarius casino for a while. They really go out of their way to make a spectacular martini. And of course, shaken not stirred!
Zodiac soup at the Aquarius Casino
My gosh. I think I had four or five huge jumbo shrimp, quite a few scallops, and a whole lot of meat. What an excellent soup. The chicken broth is extremely rich. All this for less than $10. Must go back and have some more
War of the Planet of the Apes
OMG! War on the Planet of the Apes was such a wonderful movie. It was exciting, it was moving, very touching. But most of all it was exciting. The CGI is amazing if that's what they're using.
We are getting spoiled watching movies every day. It is so nice to see it on the big screen the sound and the picture is amazing

The giant monkey gods are gone
I really enjoyed walking from Harrah's to the River Palms Casino and seeing these huge statues in the parking lot. Now they're all gone just a distant memory.
Martini Girl strikes again!
I ask you can life get much better. Love the Aquarius Casino. They really know how to serve a lemon drop martini. It was wonderful. Unfortunately he never liked doing things like this. God I really miss him thank God he's gone. I'm having so much fun now
War on Minions 3
Alright so war on the Planet of the Apes did not work out. They have projection problems. So Lucy and I did the next best thing and saw Minions 3. That movie was hysterical. We had such a good time.
But the hundred twelve degrees heat is wearing us out. And we're going to take a nap.

Well if I did need an alter ego it might as well be Martini Girl. My favorite is the Lemon Drop Martini made special by one of my friends. Must be shaken not stirred! After all I am Blonde, Jane Blonde 007!

Ducky found someone special
After years of singlehood Ducky finally found someone special. Well if it could happen to ducky it could happen to me. Right?
Day 1 is Day 7
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. Yes I know I stole that. But isn't that the best description of life? I really miss him, thank God he's gone. Life is so much better and lonelier. We all have duality in US and I seem to have a lot of it.
I had a marvelous week in Las Vegas. Saw some shows ate some great meals and had a slight Health scare. Okay a big Health scare on day three. But that's okay I'm fine now.
I'm going to jump ahead to Laughlin Nevada now. Lucy and I are having a great time in Laughlin. The heat is about 110 degrees, but the hotel room is real nice. Gambled a little this morning and I'm up $2.
I'm sad because this was our favorite place. I loved eating at the buffets with him. I love gambling here with my mom. None of these things are possible now. It's just Lucy and I and we need to find our own way.
We do have plans for dinner. We are meeting my brother and his wife and going to the Bubba Gump restaurant. Dining right on the water. It will be wonderful. Maybe later I'll go to the movies. Have to see what's playing first.
We will be in Laughlin for a couple of days. Coming up with a game plan. We have so many wonderful adventures ahead of us.
